Miniatures (2006) for Vibraphone and Marimba duo are transcriptions from a set of piano pieces called Souvenirs. I chose these pieces for percussion duo because of their rhythmic activity and varied harmonic language which ranges from a tonal harmonic framework to a loosely 12-tone based work.
